FAMOUS HEAVY BOMBER: The Avro Lancaster “DAMBUSTERS” was the RAF’s most famous heavy bomber in World War II and was commissioned in 1942. Over 7,300 machines were built for the Royal Air Force Bomber Command.
Detailed kit: the model kit contains a fuselage centre section for holding the special rotary bomb, a detailed bomb with suspension as well as a detailed cockpit with instrument board and side panels, navigator and radio space.
Authentic armament: The model is equipped with two rotating MG towers and features pulpit glazing with different mounting versions that allow a realistic replica of the Lancaster “DAMBUSTERS”.
COMPLEX CHASSIS AND PROPELLER: The kit includes a detailed main chassis shaft with separate side braces and movable propellers with two different propeller blades that increase the historical accuracy of the aircraft.
AUTHENTIC DISPLAY: The decal allows the RAF version of the Avro Lancaster (Special) of No.617 Squadron, Royal Air Force, May 1943, known for their participation in the Dambuster Raids. In addition to base paints, glue and brushes are also included in the set.
