Drop in vent with self rimming edge, surface mounted on top of flooring. It sits on top of floor surface, the height of on-top part is 0.4 inch.

Oak floor register with sliding damper which is easy to control the airflow. This kind of wood vent is not recommended to be installed in high traffic area.
