This Hydronix 30″ Sediment Filter Cartridge is the same economical replacement for the 75 micron Liquatec SDF-25-3025 30″ Sediment Filter. The Hydronix Sediment Water Filter is resistant to chemicals and reduces waterborne contaminants like sediment, rust, silt and sand. Also known as part number SDC-25-3075, this Hydronix filter cartridge is widely used as pre-filtration for reverse osmosis systems and post-filtration for granular activated carbon (GAC) filters. Constructed with 4 separate layers of micron filtration and the outside-in flow allows the outer layer of this sediment depth cartridge to trap larger sized particles, resulting in a lower pressure drop compared to conventional filters.
The graded density provides a higher dirt holding capacity over standard spun polypropylene and string wound cartridges. This filter is ideal for a wide range of residential, industrial, commercial and food service applications. The operating temperature range of this 100% polypropylene water filter cartridge is 40 degrees to 145 degrees Fahrenheit. The Hydronix SDC-25-3075 cartridge filter is binder free, surfactant free and adhesive free.
The Hydronix 30″ Sediment Filter fits standard water filter housings requiring a 2.5×30 inch filter media. Do not use this sediment depth cartridge with microbiologically unsafe water without adequate disinfection before or after the system.
