The Hydronix SWC-45-20100, 20″ x 4.5″ String Filter – 100 Micron is the same economical cartridge as the Liquatec SWF-45-20100 Sediment Filter. This 100 micron filter is a cost effective solution for reducing waterborne particles and contaminants like silt, dirt, scale, sand and sediment.
Also known as part number SWC-45-20100, this water filter has a higher flow rate and dirt holding capacity over standard size sediment cartridges. Different wound patterns based on various micron ratings will ensure that you are getting the appropriate filter for your specific water application.
This string wound filter is ideal to use for residential and commercial applications and fits water filter housings using a 20″ filter media. Constructed with 100% polypropylene fiber cord this filter can be used with municipal or well water. Do not use water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality. In addition to replacing the Liquatec SWF-45-20100, this string filter replaces the Pentek 355226-43 and Watts SF50-20-425.
Replace your sediment cartridge when you detect a decrease in pressure. The life expectancy of this filter depends on usage and water quality. Double check the size of your string wound filter prior to purchasing. The operating temperature capacity of this String Wound Filter ranges from 40 degrees to 165 degrees Fahrenheit (4.4 degrees to 73.9 degrees Celsius).
